January

This is $12,500/yr, renewable for 3 additional years. To be eligible, you must be a high school senior admitted to the University of Arizona, be an Arizona resident who has attended an Arizona high school, be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.75 or higher. This is for $5,000. This is open to female Arizona residents pursuing education in medicine or natural science at an Arizona higher education institution. The deadline for applications is January 26th. Read more here.

This awards over $8,000 each year to graduate and undergraduate students in environmental programs in Arizona. To qualify, you must be pursuing a career in the environmental field and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. You must also be a full or part-time student. The deadline to apply is January 8th. The purpose is to promote diversity and bring its benefits to the community by awarding up to $2000 in national scholarships to graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited college or university. The applicant must be a US citizen and live in one of the states where the InspirASIAN chapter partakes (Arizona is one of them). A 3.40 GPA is required to apply. On average 4-6 scholarships are awarded each spring. Since its inception, AAG has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships. This year $10,000 will be awarded. Up to $3000 will be available to student/s working with Water Media (watercolor, water-based ink, etc). The primary focus for each applicant should be quality, a cohesive body of work, and clear documentation, along with a well-written personal statement. February

This provides financial assistance and support to outstanding students to obtain a degree from Arizona State University. To be eligible, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a graduate of an Arizona high school; a graduate or transfer student of an Arizona community college; or a current ASU Student. Applicants must also be classified as Arizona residents for tuition purposes (residency is determined at the time of application to ASU). The amount varies and the deadline to apply is February 1st . This gives up to two monetary scholarships that will be awarded to high school seniors majoring in accounting in the amount of $1,000. Students must be legal U.S. residents and current residents of Arizona. They must also be attending an Arizona university or community college. The deadline is February 4th. Learn more here.

This is for $1,275. This is for applicants pursuing a four-year degree in agronomy, crop or plant science, horticulture, business/landscape/nursery or turfgrass management, agricultural communications, public relations, sales or marketing, entomology, or plant pathology. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must reside in Arizona, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, or Washington (state). This helps support undocumented medical and pre-medical students attending school in the LMSA West Region states (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho). This organization awards two scholarship recipients with a one-time scholarship, in the amount of $1,800. To be eligible, you must be committed to pursuing a career in medicine and dedicated to serving the Latino and underserved communities. The deadline to apply is February 18th. More info. here.

This is for $500. To be considered, you must be a high school senior living within Phoenix city limits. You must also be a U.S. citizen. The deadline is to be known, the application will open January 2nd. More details here.

This is open to all graduates of Southern Arizona high schools (Yuma, Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties, and regions of Graham, Greenlee, Pinal, and Maricopa counties south of the Gila River).. This scholarship supports Southern Arizona students in pursuing their educational dreams and opportunities. The first-year award is $2,000. The second year’s award is $2,500. The third and fourth-year award amount is $4,000 per year. The scholarship may be used at a community college or 4-year university. Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled full-time to be eligible for this scholarship. The deadline to apply is February 17th. More info. here.

These are for $12,000/yr. To be considered, you must be a senior in good standing who will graduate from an accredited Arizona high school. You must be a first-generation college student, have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, have a combined SAT score of 1040 or composite ACT score of 22, and demonstrate financial need. This is a one-year scholarship for up to $3,000. To be eligible, you must be an Arizona resident and graduate of an Arizona high school with a 3.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is February 26th. Read more here.

This provide up to $3,000 annually for dependent sons and daughters of Simon Property Group employees. High school seniors and college students under 23 planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the fall are eligible. This is for high school seniors in Southern Arizona who plan to enroll in an accredited community college. The awarded amount is up to $2,500 annually. The deadline to apply is February 17th. Learn more here.

This supports high school seniors attending one of the following high schools: Ajo, Baboquivari, Pueblo, Tucson, Desert View, or Sunnyside High Schools who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited public college or university. This offers one $3,000 scholarship annually to high school seniors in Southern Arizona interested in pursuing a career in the STEM field. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university. The deadline to apply is February 17th. Read more here.

This provides $10,000 and two $5,000 awards to high school seniors who promote vegetarianism in their schools or communities. Students must submit an essay outlining how they encouraged vegetarianism at their high school or in their community, challenges they faced, and future goals they have. This is available to residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and certain Australian states who are members or relatives of ESA. Students will receive $900 annually to use towards tuition, registration fees, books, dormitory fees, etc. Applicants must have a 2.5 or higher GPA, submit a letter of recommendation, and there is a $5 fee upon applying for the scholarship. They have chosen to provide scholarships to High School Seniors and College students. The AES desires to support students pursuing a degree in wildlife sciences or other closely related fields. These scholarships are available to students who will attend or are already attending accredited colleges and universities. Applicants must have a 2.7 GPA. The amount varies and the deadline for applications is February 28. Application here.

This is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses. To be considered, students must intend to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate for the first time in the fall. That is to say, students in their junior year of high school, or the equivalent if homeschooled, are eligible to apply. March

This offers up to $10,000. This provides financial assistance to students in the State of Arizona who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity and who aspire to pursue education. Applicants must be enrolled full-time as a high school senior in Arizona, progressing normally toward graduation, and planning to enter college no later than the fall following graduation. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 2.0. The deadline to apply is March 15th. More info. here.

This is given to students with a minimum 3.5 GPA attending a college or university in Arizona. Preference will be given to students attending Northern Arizona University. To be considered, your family must have an income under $100,000. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is March 1st. Apply here.

This awards $2,000 to recipients who must generally be enrolled as full-time students. Applications will also be accepted from part-time students. Students must be graduating seniors or must have attended high school in the city of Tucson and have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher. Preference will be given to first-generation college students. This is given to students pursuing a course of study beyond high school as undergraduate students. Eligible programs include but are not limited to accredited colleges and universities and post-secondary trade schools. To be considered, you must be the Immediate family member (child, spouse, stepchild, or grandchild (cousins, aunts/uncles or other extended family are not eligible) of an active, retired, or deceased police officer or firefighter. This is for $8,000. If you are an orphan, a ward of the court, living with extended family, in foster care, an independent student without financial support, or if you have experienced extreme life circumstances – this opportunity is for you. You must be an Arizona resident, a US citizen, be admitted to ASU, and be seeking a degree full-time. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The deadline is March 25th. More details here.

This is for students pursuing a degree in agriculture and is from a cotton-growing area in Arizona. Scholarship amounts vary from $1,000-$3,000. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Learn more here.

This is given to Arizona high school seniors who plan on enrolling in a community college or university, and are in need of additional financial assistance. They will be awarding a $2,500.00 scholarship to cover education expenses and this is renewable for up to four years. To be eligible, you must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher. This ranges from $2,500-$5,000, which is based on a combination of need and merit. To be eligible, applicants must have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months leading up to and including their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship after their 16th birthday; OR have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday and not subsequently adopted. This is for $1,000. To be eligible, you must be a college freshman at Chandler Gilbert Community College studying mortuary science. You must also be a full-time student and resident of Arizona. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Read more here.

This will award $5000 scholarships to up to 8 graduating seniors who are committed to service to others. To be considered, you must be a graduating high school senior from Arizona or Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Students must also have a GPA of 2.75 or higher. The deadline to apply is March 1st. This provides more than $200,000 in scholarship awards annually to high school seniors planning to pursue post-secondary education. Students must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership qualities, good citizenship, and extracurricular involvement. Applicants enrolled in a public, private, charter, parochial school, or home school located within the boundaries of the participating EWI Chapter can apply. The minimum GPA required is 3.0. This awards $3,500 to high school seniors interested in becoming future automotive industry leaders. Applicants in Arizona apply for the scholarship under Region IV. An official high school transcript, essay, letters of recommendation, and SAT or ACE scores are also required. The deadline to apply is no later than March 26. Read more and apply here.

To be eligible, applicants must have received foster care, guardianship, or adoption services from Casey Family Programs in Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, or Wyoming. They must also be starting or currently attending a technical school, college, or university in pursuit of a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or postgraduate degree. This is for High School Seniors Scholarship awards up to $10,000 to 25 high-achieving seniors planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or continuing education program. This is for $500. This is given to three individuals who are affiliated members of a chapter that will be recognized as a Gold Chapter according to the Outstanding Chapter Award guidelines. Applications close on March 1st. Click here to learn more

April

Thisis for high school seniors. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Arizona. You should also be the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a member in the VFW or in the VFW Auxiliary. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 1st. Application found here.

This provides each student with an academic advisor/mentor, as well as a student mentor; covers full tuition, fees, and books; and includes a $2,500 annual living allowance. This program serves students who are adults with (a) dependent(s) in their household, adults with a physical disability, and adults, ages 18-25, who have experienced foster care or been disconnected from their parents or primary caregiver and are responsible for their own financial support. This gives 35 awards of $1,000 each. This is for seniors graduating from a Yavapai County High School. The scholarship can be used at a University, Junior College, or Trade School of their choice. The deadline to apply is April 8th. Application found here.

This is for $500. This is given to high school seniors planning to attend Yavapai College only. The deadline to apply is April 8th. Apply here.

This seeks to award up to $2,000 to a deserving student associated with the mission-critical support industry. Applicants under the age of 18 at the time of application submission must have their application co-signed by their parent or legal guardian. Applicants must live in the Rocky Mountain region. This is for local students who have exemplified their community spirit through community service and volunteerism; express their views on The Importance of Community Service and Volunteerism. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 20th. Application available here.

This is for $1,500. This is given to Arizona high school seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA and a ranching or agricultural background. Priority is given to those who have taken agriculture-related classes, or will/are working towards an agriculture major. The deadline to apply is April 15th. Application found here.

This gives two $500 awards. This is given to BMHS seniors with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Students must also be attending an accredited 2 or 4-year college starting Fall. The deadline is April 16th. Apply here. 

This is awarded to outstanding students pursuing an associate’s degree or transfer program at any of the 10 Maricopa County Community Colleges. Ideal applicants are highly motivated individuals with clearly-defined educational and career goals and a demonstrated commitment to community service. This is for $1,500.00 and will be provided to students who will be attending a higher institution of post-secondary education. To be eligible, you must be a graduating high school senior, have one parent and must be of Hispanic heritage, and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The deadline is April 17th. This is for $1,000. This is given to graduating seniors who live in Prescott Valley. The scholarship selection will be based on the demonstration of a student who succeeds in the classroom in spite of facing challenges in life. The deadline is April 21st. Application found here.

This will grant three students each a $500 scholarship to be used on tuition or other education-related expenses. This is available to college students in Arizona who have been accepted to or are currently enrolled in a 2-year college or 4- year university with a GPA of at least 3.0. The deadline is April 30th. This is for $1,500. This is a regional art competition that challenges high school students to create works inspired by their state. To be considered, students must be in a school in Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. This is for $1,000. This is given to applicants pursuing a four-year degree in general agriculture, agricultural business management, agricultural engineering, agriculture power and equipment, and soil or water conservation with preference to those specializing in irrigation and soil technology. This offers two (2) $1,000 scholarships to students in each of our member states; Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. This scholarship is awarded to students who live in one of the member states, attend a public or private high school in one of the member states, are in their final year of high school, and will be attending a regionally accredited college or university beginning the Summer 2021 or Fall 2021 term. This provides an opportunity for students interested in attending trade school, college, or university with interest in obtaining a degree related to the construction industry. Applicants will be awarded $5,000, and it is encouraged that employees, spouses, and children of roofing industry professionals apply. Applicants must be residents in the WSRCA service area; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. This is for $2,000. This is open to students with Tourette’s syndrome. Any prospective first-year college student or high school senior who resides in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, or Washington state, and has Tourette’s syndrome may apply. Qualifying students must also be qualified for admission to an accredited college (junior college or four-year college) or trade school at mid-term or at the end of the current school year during which the award is made. This will award scholarships to high school graduates who are planning to enroll in an accredited university, college, junior college, or technical school. The applicant must have a total cumulative GPA of at least 3.2. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 1st. Apply here.

This is for $2,000. This is given to a senior high school student graduating from any above-listed Yuma County High School, who has a parent(s) that are active duty/retired U.S. Military member or a sworn Public Safety Officer/Firefighter within Yuma County. They are offering two $1,000 awards to matriculated students in Associate degree programs at; Arizona Western College, Yuma, AZ. The deadline to apply is April 26th. More info. Here.

They give two $5,000 awards. This will be awarded to one graduating senior from Antelope HS, Kofa HS, Cibola HS, Yuma HS, Gila Ridge HS, San Luis HS, or Yuma Catholic HS. This is also given to one graduating senior selected from applications submitted from Yuma County Charter Schools (Carpe Diem Collegiate High School, Aztec High School, PPEP TEC, Harvest Preparatory Academy, and Educational Opportunity Center Charter School – YPIC, and Vista Alternative School). May

This awards underprivileged students with a scholarship of up to $10,000. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside in Arizona and will attend an in-state university or community college by the time of the award. Students must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here.

This is up to $2,000. This is open to Arizona residents pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Project Management or a similar field. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here.

This is up to $2,000 for community college and $3,000 for 4-year university. To be eligible, students must attend ASU, NAU, Maricopa Community Colleges, Yavapai College, or Eastern Arizona College and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students must also be majoring in Nursing, Education, Finance, or Engineering. Financial needs must be demonstrated. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Website found here.

This is for $5,000. This is given to college students in the local community who are LGBTQ+ member or ally. Applicant must be a resident of Arizona who is enrolled as a full-time student while receiving the scholarship. Applicants must submit the FAFSA and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. This gives $2,500 for up to 4 years. This is available to American Indian high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher who reside in one of the 23 states serviced by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies. Applicants must be an enrolled citizen or a descendant of an enrolled citizen of a federal or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Village; or Native Hawaiian or descendant from a Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander or descendant from Pacific Islander; or an Indigenous person of Canada. This is for $300. To be eligible, students must be of African-American/Black heritage, be a graduating High School Senior with a minimum 2.0 GPA or higher, and show financial need. Preference will be given to students planning to attend Gateway Community College or South Mountain Community College. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here.

This awards two applicants $2,000 to high school seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Applicants must have an excellent standing credit union membership and be enrolled in a full-time accredited college, university, community college, or technical/trade school in Arizona. This offers 100% tuition coverage to Arizona residents attending NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus as incoming first-year students. Applicants must have a 3.75 or higher GPA on their high school transcript. No application is required, students will be considered for the scholarship at the time of application by the decision committee. The deadline to accept the offer of admission is May 1st. This provides financial assistance to high school graduates who wish to pursue post-secondary education in Arizona colleges or universities in their chosen fields. The awarded amount varies. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA, 40 hours of community service completed over the past two years, and enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the fall. This gives ten $5,000 awards to Hispanic students who are beginning or continuing their studies at higher educational institutions in Arizona and California’s Central Valley. Eligible applicants must demonstrate leadership in extracurricular activities, a commitment to volunteer service in the community, and financial need. Applicants must be incoming or continuing full-time undergraduate students full-time with a 3.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is May 25th. More details here.

This ranges from $1,000 to $5,000. This is for individuals residing in states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming) who are current MGMA members and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management. This $4,000 scholarship will go towards college tuition. Students will also receive college and workforce readiness training and ongoing academic support, develop financial capability and stability, and receive ongoing support and connections to resources throughout high school and college. June

This provide unparalleled scholarships and service opportunities to young women in the Grand Canyon State. More than 50 young women representing all corners of Arizona compete at the State competition each year to earn more than $30,000 cash and $500,000 in-kind scholarships. By providing a platform for tomorrow’s leaders to express their opinions, talents, character, and intelligence, the organization seeks to aid in personal development, better the community and state at large, and display the importance of service before self. This is open to students who are members of the Hualapai, San Carlos Apache, Tohono O’odham, and White Mountain Apache tribes and attending community colleges, tribal colleges, and four-year universities. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is June 2nd. Learn more here.

This promotes the advancement of Arizona’s working women through scholarships, research, and education. Scholarships are awarded to women 21 years or older who are returning to school at a community college to acquire better job opportunities or advance their current careers. This ranges from $500 to $5,000. This is for students of Korean-American descent attending a school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is June 30th. More details here.

The primary criterion is that the student applicant was a ward of the State of Arizona or in tribal foster care when they turned 18 years of age. Prospective applicants who have signed a voluntary contract with DCS past their 18th birthday are also eligible. To be eligible, students must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Four-year college/university applicants with cumulative GPAs between 2.0 and 2.5 are eligible to receive $2,000 per year. This provide scholarships, research, and educational opportunities for Arizona’s working women. Arizona residents 19 years or older enrolled in a community college in Arizona are encouraged to apply. The warded amount varies. Two letters of recommendation from a business professional and an unofficial copy of the applicant’s most recent transcript are required. The deadline to apply is June 15th. This awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in ocean sciences and environmental sciences. The awarded amount varies. At least once in high school, applicants are required to participate in the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB). Applicants must submit an official high school transcript, scores for the SAT or ACT, two essays, and two letters of recommendation. The deadline to apply is June 2nd May 28th. This is a highly competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship offered annually to a select number of Arizona resident high school graduates who are first-time, full-time, degree-seeking students. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is June 2nd. Read more here.

July

This is for $1,000. This is open to high school seniors and undergraduate students at a community college in Arizona (Maricopa, Yuma, Pima, or Cochise County). Applicants must also demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is July 31st. Read more here.

All new University of Phoenix degree students who are recent high-school graduates within the past 24 months who apply for and enroll in a University of Phoenix bachelor’s degree program will have the opportunity to be considered for one of the twenty-five scholarships that are up to $3,000 each. Students must also have an aggregate GPA of 3.75 or higher in their bachelor’s degree program. The deadline is July 31st. Apply here.

Scholarship awards $1,000 to high school seniors accepted into an undergraduate program for the fall semester in the US. Applicants must be US citizens or have valid student visas. This is for Arizona students who are in their senior year of high school or enrolled in college, and are involved in the American Quarter Horse Association and are invited to apply for the Arizona Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship. This is for seniors who are Yavapai County residents. This scholarship will cover tuition not otherwise covered by FAFSA, YC, or other 3rd party grants, discounts, or scholarships. The deadline is August 1st. More info. here.

This is based on financial need and is available to any graduating students from an Arizona high school or college. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a resident of Arizona. The scholarship shall be for five hundred dollars ($500.00) per semester and may be renewed each consecutive semester of registration in an NCA-accredited Arizona community college, college, or university and a current grade point average of a minimum of 2.65. This awards two $2,500 scholarships to students enrolled in pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs. The goal is to support applicants with a strong passion for a nursing career in Arizona. Prior to applying, applicants must complete at least one semester of BSN program courses and be a member of the Student Nurses Association. The deadline to apply is August 17th. This offers $1,000 to high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in a math-related field. Applicants must write an essay about what draws them to math and how certain principles in math shaped their understanding of the world. The deadline to apply is August 1st. Apply here.

This offers $1,500 to all students in the US ages 14 and older who are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or planning to enroll no later than fall 2025. This is for $3,500. This is offered to students who plan on pursuing a career in welding engineering and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to students who are citizens of or who plan to attend school in Arizona or Ohio. The deadline is August March 1st. More info. Here.

September

This is a highly selective full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority high school  seniors. This covers the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by financial aid. Cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, room, board, books, transportation and may include other personal costs. The deadline to apply is September 15th. More details here.

This is for $1,000. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain postsecondary trade or business career training in programs ranging from technical certificates to college degrees. Educational programs range in length from approximately six weeks through two years. October

This provides an unparalleled package for undergraduate study at an Arizona public university for Arizona’s highest-achieving high school seniors each year. Flinn Scholars, who can attend Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, or the University of Arizona, also benefit from working with top faculty and researchers, meeting business and civic leaders in their field, and forming their own community and alumni network. As a general rule, Flinn Scholarship applicants should attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average and rank in the top 5 percent of their graduating class. The deadline is October 18th. Apply here.

This is up to $12,000. To be eligible, applicants must be Arizona residents, 17 years of age and older, and will be enrolled in a post-secondary university, or community college in the state of Arizona. The deadline is October 30th. Read more here.

November

This pays 25% of in-state tuition. This is given to students attending Arizona State University who graduated from an Arizona high school, ranked in the top 10% of their class, and are registered as full-time incoming freshmen. The deadline for submitting is November 1st. Website found here.

This awards three high school seniors a $1,000.00 non-renewable scholarship to assist with post-secondary education costs. To be considered, you must be a high school senior attending a public or private secondary school in the state of Arizona. You must also be a permanent resident of the state of Arizona and have a school counselor employed by your school who is an Arizona School Counselors Association member. This is for freshmen, sophomores, or juniors enrolled in an accredited US college or university. Three applicants will be awarded $1,000. Applicants must write a 700-850 word essay answering the prompt on the website and provide a copy of their most recent transcript. The deadline to apply is November 15th. More info here.

This is for $1,500. This is open to Arizona residents who have survived a serious burn injury that required grafting/surgery during hospitalization. Applicants must be 17 years or older and registered or enrolled in an undergraduate diploma or certificate program at a state-licensed and accredited institution. This is for $1,000. To be eligible, you must be an Arizona resident, be registered as a student at an accredited college or university in Arizona only, and have at least a 2.5 GPA. The deadline to apply is December 19th. Learn more here.

This is a merit based scholarship for up to $66,400. This is given to incoming freshmen who are non-resident applicants to the University of New Mexico. Applicants must be from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. It is renewable for four years, dependent on the completion of 15 credits and a 3.0 GPA each semester. Must have an ACT of 22 or an SAT of 1100, and a cumulative 3.0 GPA. The deadline varies. To be eligible, applicants must have received foster care, guardianship or adoption services from Casey Family Programs in Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington or Wyoming. They must also be starting or currently attending a technical school, college or university in pursuit of a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s or postgraduate degree. This is the largest private provider of scholarships in Arizona. There are more than 80 different types of scholarship funds available. Almost all of them are for undergraduate study at a college or university. Many of them target students graduating from a specific high school or starting their studies in a particular major field of study. Read more here.

This is awarded to children of Arizona workers who have been fatally or seriously injured in a valid work-related accident resulting in a financial need to complete their education. To qualify for help, the parent’s work-related injury or death must have led to a substantial decline in family income. The applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 25. Students eligible for the Champions Scholarship must be a current or recent ward of the Yavapai County Juvenile Court. The Scholarship is available at both the Verde and Prescott Campuses. Scholarships cover costs for tuition, books and fees for full or part-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program. Deadlines are July 1st for the Fall semester, December 1st for the Spring semester, and May 1st for the Summer semester. More details here.

This supports Central Arizona College students enrolled in the Fire Science program with expenses or fees not related to tuition costs. Recipients receive an award of $500 per semester for a total of $1,000 per academic year. To be eligible, recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours, maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and be a graduate of a Pinal County high school. The deadline for the fall semester is June 7th and for the spring semester is December 6th. Apply here.

This ranges from $1,000 to $2,500. This is given to Arizona residents enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate student at an Arizona college or University and who qualify for the Pell Grant. The deadline varies. For more information click here.

This covers 150% of the resident tuition, allowing students to save $14,661 annually. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents in the following territories; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, American Samoa, Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federal States of Micronesia.
