January

This is for high school seniors from a public or private high school in Arkansas. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in a college majoring in music with a passion for choral or vocal performance at an accredited 4-year college or university. After applying, applicants must attend an audition and interview at St. Janes United Methodist Church. The awarded amount is $1,000 for first place and $500 for second place students. This awards $2,500. Applicants must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must be studying engineering and/or science at their chosen school. Applicants must have permanent residence in the NACE Central Area, which includes the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. This offers $2,500. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture and reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, participation in community service, financial need, and leadership ability. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application. This awards $2,000. Applicants must be working toward four-year degrees in specific areas of agriculture. Applicants must also be residents of one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming. This awards twenty applicants $1,500. This is available to members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) who are residents of one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin. The applicant must plan to major in an eligible agricultural field and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. The deadline to apply is January 12th. More info. here.

This is eligible for immigrant students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA),  Temporary Protected Status (TPS), or who came to the US before November 1st, 2016. Students who are US citizens are not eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a 2.8 or higher GPA, and will or have graduated from high school in a locked out-state (Arkansas is one of them). This is open to high school seniors enrolled at an accredited college or university. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, resident of Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas, or affiliated with a Bird Dog club, organization, or field trial association in another 47 states. Also, applicants must write an essay of 900 to 1,000 words on wildlife conservation or related topics listed in the guidelines. February

This offers $15,000. Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors living in the OG&E service area in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Check the list of eligible cities. Applicants must also attend college in the states of Oklahoma or Arkansas. The applicant should have an unweighted cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.25, an ACT score greater than or equal to 25, and/or SAT score greater than or equal to 1200. Preference will be given to STEM majors. Candidates should demonstrate some financial need. The deadline is February 15th. Apply here.

This provides scholarships to students majoring in Radio-TV at Arkansas State University. This annual award is given in honor of the late Arkansas farm broadcaster Marvin Vines. The deadline to apply is February 1st. More details here.

This is for current undergraduates studying business with a pest management minor. Priority is given to dependents of APMA members in good standing. Applicants must intend to work in Arkansas’ pest control industry for two years, carry a full-time course load of 12 credits per semester, achieve a minimum collegiate GPA of 2.5, and be willing to attend an interview in Little Rock. This is eligible for first-year students entering the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, for the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must be from one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. This range from $500 to $5,000. Applicants must be high school seniors or college freshmen or sophomores who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Students must also  have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for high school seniors or 2.75 for college students. This is eligible  for high school seniors to supplement college costs beginning their freshman year. The scholarship award is $1,000 for the first academic year and is awarded to full-time students who plan to major in education and enroll in an Arkansas college or university. This is for applicants planning to attend college or trade school. Scholarship recipients are expected to work at the Rotary Club’s annual pancake breakfast and attend a Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club meeting award ceremony. The deadline to apply is February 22nd. Read more here.

This was established to memorialize the owner of the wastewater supply company, Arkansas Meter, in Cabot and his wife. The awarded amount is $2,000. Dependents of employees at in-state water or sewerage facilities may apply. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED certificate and enroll at least half-time at an accredited college. This provide up to $3,000 annually for dependent sons and daughters of Simon Property Group employees. High school seniors and college students under 23 planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the fall are eligible. This offers $1,000 to a graduating high school senior pursuing a degree in education. Applicants must list student activities, work experience, and leadership involvement when applying. The deadline to apply is February 18th. Apply here.

This is for undergraduates pursuing a degree in agriculture-related fields. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing the financial analysis section of the application and reside in Arkansas. The awarded amount is up to $3,000. The deadline to apply is February 15th. Apply here.

This offers $1,000 annually ($500 for 2 semesters) to one high school graduate or college undergraduate resident of Arkansas. Applicants must be a child or legal ward of an SW Section-AWWA member. The deadline to apply is February 28. More info here.

This awards eligible high school students $125 per course for up to two concurrent credit courses per semester. Only high school students classified as junior or senior can qualify. March

This offers 10,000 for the school year. This is for high school seniors with a 32 on the ACT or 1410 on the SAT and a 3.5 GPA or higher. Applicants must be planning to attend college or university in the state of Arkansas. The deadline is March 1st. Website found here.

This is for High School Seniors offers financial assistance to 25 high school seniors demonstrating academic excellence and who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university. The awarded amount is up to $10,000. Applicants must have a 2.75 or higher GPA, be eligible for Pell Grant, and be part of an underserved community. offers up to $3,000. This is available to any high school or college student and is open to all industry employees, their spouses, and children residing in the Mid-America Cable Show region. The students applying for this scholarship should have a High School and college GPA of 2.8. The deadline to apply is March 31. Read more here.

This  is for students who are Arkadelphia  High School graduates and are planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the United States. The awarded amount varies. Before applying, applicants must apply for the Arkansas Academic Challenge (Lottery) Scholarship. The deadline to apply is March 30th. Apply here.

This provides financial assistance to Black/African American students interested in attending an accredited university, college, or vocational school. Applicants must be between the age of 17 to 25 and have graduated or have roots in Arkansas. The awarded amount varies. The deadline to apply is March 30th. Read more here.

Their goal is to assist former players that played baseball obtain a college education. The awarded amount is $2,000. An applicant must have played in a Dixie Youth Baseball franchised league at least once before age 13. The committee considers financial needs, academic records, and citizenship. This offers $3,500 to high school seniors who aspire to become future industry leaders in the automotive sector. Applicants in Arkansas can apply for the scholarship under Region Ⅲ. Also, applicants must provide a copy of an official high school transcript, answer essay prompt, letter of recommendation, and SAT or ACE scores. The deadline to apply is no later than March 12. This awards $5,000 to 30 high school seniors or $3,500 to 30 undergraduates who reside in the state with Regions full-service branches and are planning to enroll in an accredited college in the United States. Applicants can choose to submit a 500-word (or less) written essay or a 3-minute (or less) video essay that showcases how a Black American individual has been an inspiration in their life and discuss the contributions of that Black American individual. This scholarship provides undergraduate and graduates scholarships for college students enrolled in Arkansas and Missouri universities. Applicants pursuing a degree related to the poultry industry are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is March 16th. Read more here.

This provides financial assistance to women enrolled or planning to enroll in a STEM field at an accredited two-year technical program, four-year undergraduate program, or a graduate program with a preference for those interested in the automobile and mobility industry. The amount of each scholarship is dependent upon the number of applicants and ranges from $1,000 to $5,000 each. The deadline to apply is March. Read more here.

This awards up to $2,500. This is available to students who reside in Arkansas and will attend a college, university, or technical/trade school in this state. Applicants must also be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of American Legionnaires in good standing of two or more consecutive years’ membership. Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member. Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible. Thisawards up to $1,000 and is available to students who reside in Arkansas and choose to attend an Arkansas or out-of-state institution of higher learning. Applicants must also be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of American Legionnaires in good standing of two or more consecutive years’ membership. Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member. Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible. April

This offer a renewable award of up to $1,000 to Arkansas residents pursuing healthcare career aspirations as RNs. Future nurse practitioners are also considered for the Monroe County Medical Professionals Scholarship. To be eligible, you must pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, attend a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing school, and demonstrate a minimum major GPA of 3.0. This is $1,000 General Scholarship is for high school graduates attending college or a vocational educational institution. Applicants must be the child, grandchild, adopted child, stepchild, or spouse of an employee of a current Arkansas Ready Mixed Concrete Association member to be eligible. This awards a $500 scholarship through a drawing and is for someone attending an Arkansas college after graduation. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Application found here.

This offer $1,000. This award finances four years of collegiate study for scholars who achieve the highest Arkansas High School Diploma test scores. To be considered, you must be at least 18 years of age, attend an Arkansas public or private high school, be accepted at least part-time at in-state institutions, intend to pursue a four-year baccalaureate degree, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA throughout college. This promotes continued education by offering scholarships to deserving students to recognize their leadership, scholastic achievement, and civic participation. Any graduating high school senior planning to attend a college/university, vocational/technical, or trade school is eligible to apply. These awards range from $1,000-$5,000. Scholarships are eligible for renewal when funds are available. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum of 19 on the ACT are required. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Learn more here.

This provides scholarships for the educational expenses of students attending East Arkansas Community College. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have earned 24 college credit hours, be enrolled for and continue to pursue a degree as a full-time student, and maintain a GPA of 2.00 or higher. Special consideration may be given to first-generation college students or students who have had an interruption in their education. Applicants must be a resident of a county where a branch or office of First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas is located. Award is up to $1,000 for an academic year. This will be awarded to one or more full-time sophomore students (completed 30 hours toward a degree) with GPAs of at least 3.0. Applicants must reside in a county served by an office or branch of the bank. Applications must be submitted by April 15th. More details here.

This is eligible to first-time entering students who are planning to receive a transfer degree from EACC and then transfer to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The $500.00 scholarship will primarily assist with tuition, fees, and textbooks for a maximum of $250.00 per semester. The recipient must maintain a 2.50 GPA. This covers the recipient’s full tuition for the fall semester and is renewable at EACC for subsequent semesters, provided the recipient continues to meet qualifications. The waiver will remain in effect until a student has completed their degree. Waiver recipients must enter East Arkansas Community College by the fall semester following high school graduation. This provides scholarships to children and grandchildren of Farm Bureau members pursuing agriculture studies at an accredited Arkansas university. The deadline to apply is April 17th. Application here.

This offers up to $7,500 to high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in medium and heavy-duty truck technicians at an institution in Arkansas. Applicants must be attending at least a two-semester medium and heavy truck technical program. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Read more here.

This awards $2,500 to an Arkansas resident with a documented learning disability who plans to enroll at a university, 2-year community college, or vocational/technical training program in the fall semester. Applicants must demonstrate that they are committed to achieving their personal goals despite the learning disability they are living with. awards a $3,500 scholarship to cover books and tuition. To be considered, applicants must be current members (or the child of a current member) of Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation. The applicant should have also chosen to attend the High Voltage Lineman Training Program at ASU-Newport, Arkansas, this fall. The deadline to apply is April 15th. Apply here.

This is for high school seniors who are graduating, graduated high school seniors, or students with a GED and who plan to enroll in an accredited vocational, college, or university. The awarded amount is up to $500 to $3,000. The application deadline is April 1st. Learn more here.

This is available for Arkansas high school graduates interested in post-secondary education to pursue a degree in the music field. Applicants must demonstrate their talent in music through participation in school or community activities and have a 2.5 or higher GPA. May

This awards $500 to a student who will attend North Arkansas College, demonstrates financial need, is pursuing a degree in math or education, and has a 3.0 minimum GPA. The deadline to apply is May 3rd. Apply here.

This offers $2,500 annually (up to 4 years) to American Indian high school seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Students must reside in one of the 23 states served by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation (Arkansas is one of them) and be current AISES members. Applicants pursuing a major in business, economics, finance, mathematics, technology, etc., are welcome to apply. Also, upon applying, applicants must be accepted into a full-time undergraduate program at a 4-year accredited college or university. This is eligible for graduating seniors from an Arkansas high school who intend to major in math at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The awarded amount is up to $3,000. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Apply here.

This offers up to $3,000 to applicants interested in majoring in engineering, English, history, languages, math, or science at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville or Little Rock. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Apply here.

This awards up to $3,000 to high school seniors graduating from Brinkley High School and planning to enroll in a college or university in Arkansas. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Apply here.

This awards $1,000 to a student who is an AAEA member pursuing a degree related to education. Applicants must list extracurricular activities they participated in, academic honors, and a letter of recommendation from a school administrator. The deadline to apply is before May 1st. Learn more here.

June

This is for applicants who are residents of Arkansas and enrolled (or enrolling) full-time in the course of study leading to a degree or an associate’s degree in a construction-related field, construction management, civil, mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering. Applicants must also desire a career in a construction-related field, construction management, civil, mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering. The deadline to apply is June 1st. This grants $1,000 per semester for first- and second-year students; $1,500 per semester for junior and senior students; $2,000 per semester for graduate students, based on continued eligibility. First-time applicants must currently be an Arkansas high school senior, Arkansas college undergraduate, or graduate student. Applicants must pursue a degree in an approved field of study, maintain full-time status, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher. The deadline to apply is June 15th. Apply here.

This provides $4,000 per semester for four years to an incoming freshman pursuing a forestry degree at UAMs College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources. Applications will be accepted through June 30th. Students interested in the scholarship can find more information here.

This offers up to $1,000 to full-time students and $500 to part-time students demonstrating financial needs. Applicants must be residents of Arkansas for at least 12 months before applying and enrolling in a higher institution in Arkansas. The deadline to apply is June 1st. Learn more here.

This is eligible for high school students interested in writing about church-state separation and conveying what actions they can take to protect it. Students in high school classes of 2022, 2023, and 2023 attending school in the United States are eligible to participate. Employees and board members of Americans United, and members of their families, are not eligible to participate. The awarded amount is $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place winners.Essay submissions are due May 8 and video submissions are due by June 5th. Read more here.

is a scholarship program for students interested in pursuing a career in ocean science or environmental science-related fields. The awarded amount varies. Applicants who apply must major in a related field and participate in the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) at least once in high school. This supports, empowers, and encourages first-year medical students in Arkansas who are interested in practicing medicine in rural areas of Arkansas. The scholarship award of $2,500 will be used toward tuition fees and educational expenses. Applicants will need to be current residents of Arkansas enrolled as undergraduate or postgraduate medical students pursuing a degree/career path in a medicine-related field at an institution of higher learning in Arkansas. July

This provides financial assistance for dependents and spouses of Arkansans who were killed or missing in action, were prisoners of war, or were totally and permanently disabled. Applicants must be Arkansas residents and U.S. citizens enrolled in an accredited Arkansas public college, complete at least 24 credits per academic year, and have a 2.0 GPA. This is eligible for Arkansas residents pursuing higher education. Students graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, incoming students, or re-enrolling after taking some time off college are encouraged to apply. The awarded amount varies based on 4-year or 2-year institutions and academic status such as freshmen, sophomores, etc. Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA and an ACT score of 19. This offers scholarships to Arkansas residents seeking education outside the state in chiropractic medicine, dentistry, optometry, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, and veterinary medicine. The awarded amount varies. Applicants must be in good academic standing upon completing the curriculum requirements in the program. The deadline to apply is July 1st. More info here.

This is eligible for Arkansas, Louisiana, or Oklahoma residents who must be current dialysis patients or kidney transplant recipients. Applicants must demonstrate financial need when filling out the expenses vs. income table on the application and have at least a 2.5 GPA. The awarded amount is up to $5,000. will reimburse the institution for the cost of tuition, fees, and dormitory room charges when provided in campus-owned facilities. Arkansas bona ride residents, United States citizens, permanent resident aliens, children, stepchildren, legally adopted children, or spouses of eligible Arkansas law enforcement officers are eligible to apply. Students must be enrolled or accepted for admission at an Arkansas college, university, or technical school. A 2.0 GAP is required to maintain the scholarship for the 8 semesters. provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to conduct in-depth research projects that align with their field of study with faculty members available for assistance. The awarded amount is up to $4,000. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Arkansas institution of higher education as full-time students, complete 30 semester credits, and have a 3.5 GPA. August

This is for an incoming freshman graduating from Palestine-Wheatley High School. The student must have a 2.0 GPA. The award is given in the fall of the academic year, $750 per semester. The deadline to apply is August 15th. Learn more here.

This offers $500 each to 2 recipients who are highly motivated high school, undergraduate, or graduate students. Applicants majoring in any field can apply and must have a 2.0 or higher GPA. The deadline to apply is August 31st More info here.

September

This is offered to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students majoring in a science-related field, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Molecular Biology. The awarded amount is $1,000. The scholarship is open globally, and applicants must have a 3.0 GPA to apply. Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and be involved in community or public services. October

This is eligible for high school seniors from six primary rice-growing states: Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. Applicants must create a short 3 minutes or less video about U.S. rice, National Rice Month, and the importance of rice to you, their state, or the world in general. The awarded amount is $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place winner. The deadline to apply is October 31st. More info here.

November

This offers up to $1,000 to recipients. This is available to high school seniors with a 2.5 GPA. The deadline to apply is November 9th. More information here.

This awards up to $5000- $8000 per year. This is awarded to students from underrepresented communities who have demonstrated outstanding academic leadership qualities and potential. Members of underrepresented communities include but are not limited to students from underrepresented ethnic or minority groups, students with interest in a field that does not typically attract members of their ethnicity or gender, students who reside in an underrepresented county in Arkansas, and first-generation college students. This offers up to $4000 per year. Renewable for 4 years (5 years for Architecture students) with 30 hours per year (27 hours during freshman year) and a 2.50 cumulative GPA. This is a regional fund designed to support Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee residents with a passion for horseback riding. Over four years, the award gives $9,000 for a bachelor’s degree of the recipient’s choice. Applications are accepted until December 1st. More details here.

This awards nine $1,000 scholarships to deserving Arkansas student-athlete high school seniors. Applicants must also be attending an Arkansas college or junior college (private or public) as a freshman the following fall of 2022. Students attending out-of-state colleges are not eligible. Deadlines Vary

To be eligible, applicants must live in the state of Arkansas or in Bowie County, TX. They must also meet the following definition of “single parent” (all 3 categories) listed on the website. You must also have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and have a household income that is typically not more than 250% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. Learn more here.

The grant will cover tuition and fees for qualifying certificate and Associate degree programs at Arkansas’ public institutions for eligible students. The grant is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To be eligible, an applicant must have either graduated from an Arkansas public school, private school, or home school. They must also be enrolled part-time or full-time at an approved institution of higher education in a program of study that leads to an associate degree or a certification in a STEM or regional high-demand field. This provides financial assistance to students seeking professional training in chiropractic medicine, dentistry, optometry, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, and veterinary medicine to allow them to attend out-of-state institutions. Read more here.

This manages dozens of scholarships established by donors to support education for students who meet various criteria. Some scholarships are designated for graduates of a named high school or for students who plan to attend a specific college.  Other scholarships are based on extracurricular activities or intended college majors. This offers scholarships to African American, American Indian, and Latino students enrolled in engineering or computer science programs. The program aims to increase the number of students who graduate in 5 years. Applicants enrolled in an accredited college or university in a NACME Partner Institution are encouraged to apply. This awards scholarships to Arkansas high school students from public, private, and charter schools and homeschooled based on their talents instead of GPAs or intended major of study. The awarded amount varies, and applicants must be accepted or enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college in Arkansas for the award to be disbursed. This is for incoming first-year students who demonstrate high academic standing and are passionate about completing a mechanical or electrical engineering degree. Applicants must have a high school GPA of 3.5 and a preferred ACT score of 27. The tuition and fees are covered over the 4 years and an optional $2,000 for on-campus housing annually. To be eligible, your parents or guardians must be North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members and have a high school grade-point average of 3.0 or higher through the first semester of senior year.
