This offers award up to 41000 to students under 21 years of age, about to attend their first year of higher education, and who meet the height requirements of TCI— 5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women, and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men. The deadline to apply is March 1st. Learn more here

This offers $2500 to Employees of Jerome Home and pursuing higher education after high school. The deadline to apply is March 31. Learn more here.

This offers $6000 to high school seniors who are residents of Berlin or New Britain, and top 20% of their class who is pursuing full-time degree studies at 4 year college or university. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Learn more here.

This offers $1000 to high school juniors and seniors in the following major: creative writing, dance, instrumental music, musical theater, theater, visual arts and vocal music. The deadline to apply is March 28th. Learn more here.

This offers financial support to New England students affected by congenital heart defects (CHDs). The awarded amount is $1,5000. Applicants must be diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, recipient of a heart transplant, or be a family member (sibling, child, parent) of a person diagnosed with a CHD. Also, be a resident of one of the New England States, high school senior or undergraduate students with a 2.5 or higher GP, and be accepted into an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or technical school in the United States. April

This offers African American and Black graduating high school seniors an award that ranges from $2,500 – $20,000. This will help students pursue an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. A requirement of constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. This offers awards according to placement, 1st Place – $2,000; 2nd Place – $1,500; 3rd Place – $1,250 to African American high school juniors and seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. A requirement of constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. This gives a $5000 award to African American graduating high school seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in performing arts. This offers varied amount to Connecticut high school seniors to plan to major in a medical or biomedical field. Requirement of 3.5+ gpa and SAT score of 1200+ or ACT of 26+. Need to demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Learn more here

This is up to $5000 to African American graduating high school seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in visual arts. Applicants must currently be in  full-time studies, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The deadline to apply is April 30th. More info here. 

This offers $5000 to legal residents of Connecticut  between the ages of 14 and 22 years and enrolled as full-time students in a college/university. The deadline to apply is April 28th. Learn more here.

This is for full time undergraduate students of Armenian descent whose families live in CT. Applicants must have a 3.4+ GPA. The deadline to apply is April 29th. Learn more here.

This awards $10,000 to diverse law students enrolled in a J.D. or LL.M. accredited law school in the New York regions. This included Connecticut and New Jersey. This awards $2,500 to high school seniors with good academic standing who demonstrate financial needs and are interested in pursuing a higher education focusing on Landscape Architecture. This offers $1500 to residents of the State of Connecticut or are attending a full time 4 year audiology doctoral program in the state of Connecticut. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here.

This offers $1000 scholarship to one shoreline area high school senior and plans on attending college, who is an active member of their school golf team. This offers a varied amount to high school seniors who are seeking higher education in ice sport and need financial assistance. All applicants must be New England residents and skate at FMC arenas. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here

This offers $5000 to members who have an immediate family member with a serious cancer diagnosis and be a resident of Connecticut. Applicants are accepted as a full time undergraduate student at a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. Demonstrate financial assistance with a 2.75+ gpa. This offers awards up to $1000 to students who have an interest in pursuing an ocean or a marine related topic area in their college education. Applicants must participate in the NOSB at least once during their high school career. A career goal in the ocean sciences or a marine-related field is required. The deadline to apply is May 25th. This offers $1500 to students enrolled in a STEM field at a college/university. The students must be entering their third year of study and be a US citizen and a resident of Southeastern New England. The deadline to apply is May 1st. Learn more here

This offers $1000 to the winner of the essay contest. high school students who attend school in Connecticut, have previously not won the contest, and not related to any member of the Rise for Rohingya Team or current judge. The deadline to apply is June 30th. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 in cash to high school students who make the best prom attire out of duct tape. The deadline to apply is June 9th. Learn more here.

This gives $2000 to high school seniors who enroll in College or University in the US. To be considered, you must be 18 years or older, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and be a legal resident in the required states. The deadline to apply is June 1st. Learn more here.

This offers $500 to students planning to attend a full time four-year Michigan university pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. Students need to be  a Albanian Ethnicity of 50% or more with 3.0+ GPA. The deadline to apply is June 30th. Learn more here.

This is for biological, adopted, and step-children of police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and 911 dispatchers. The awarded amount is up to $6,500 for one academic year. As full-time students, applicants must pursue an undergraduate degree, certificate, graduate, or law degree at an accredited college or university in the United States. This aims to increase access to mental health care treatment for communities of color by cultivating more Black and Hispanic social workers. The awarded amount is $10,000 to a student. Applicants must be residents of Connecticut, Black or Hispanic, and enrolled in the Masters of Social Work curriculum in CT or NY program. The deadline to apply is June 30th. Learn more here. 

July

This awards $2,500 to undergraduate students with experience working in the RV industry and planning to pursue a career in the RC industry after graduating college. Applicants must be accepted into a 4-year college or university and be a rising sophomore, junior or senior with a 2.8 or higher GPA and 1040 SAT score or 22 ACT score. This awards $1,500 to undergraduates or graduate students studying full-time at a U.S. college or university. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, preferably of Polish Heritage. It is essential that students are interested in the future and the dissemination of information about Polish culture, history, and people. Applicants majoring in any major are eligible to apply. August

This offers $10,000 to high school within the Tri-State area. Students need to be first-generation American or immigrant students who enroll full-time in a four-year undergraduate college. The deadline to apply is August 31st. Learn more here.

September

This awards $5,000 to students in the first two quarters ($2,500 per quarter) plus a new ESP guitar. Applicants must be planning to enroll or enrolled in a Musicians Institute program studying an Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Music in Performance (Guitar) Program. Students who are international students and U.S. citizens are eligible to apply. Also, a YouTube video of applicants performing 3 songs in the Rock genre on the electric or acoustic guitar is required upon applying. The deadline to apply is September 2nd. More info here. 

This is a highly competitive scholarship that provides full tuition coverage for high school seniors from low-income households and minorities who demonstrate excellent academic standing. Students must be planning to enroll in a full-time accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must be from at least one of the following ethnicities; African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American. Other requirements include being a US citizen, national, or permanent resident and having a GPA of 3.3. The deadline to apply is September 15th. Read more here.

This  awards $5,000 to deserving cardiac care nurses or nursing students pursuing a career in cardiac care to provide better care for congenital heart defect patients. Applicants must submit a current version of their resume and answer two prompted questions found on the application. The deadline to apply is September 30th. Apply here.

October

This offers $5000 to a person of color who is enrolled in a teacher-preparation program at a college or university in Connecticut. The deadline to apply is October 31. Learn more here.

This offers $2,500 to full-time juniors or seniors of African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American or Native American heritage enrolled in undergraduate teacher programs.Must be nominated by an Education Dean (or appropriate official) at the college you attend. This offers full tuition coverage to candidates who have not previously obtained a bachelor’s degree, served at least 90 days of active duty and will receive an honorable discharge. Be able and willing to participate in a one-month pre-collegiate training program in New York City during the summer prior to matriculation. The deadline to apply is October 9th. Learn more here.

November

This offers awards up to $11,000 based on high performance in academic coursework of the students that are outside of the state. The deadline to apply is November 1st. More details here.

This offers $3000 to US citizens and resides in a location within the ASA NORTHEAST region, and is sponsored by an ASA member company located in the ASA NORTHEAST region. Applicants are focused in a business or technical field of study, and planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate degree program at a 4 year college. The deadline to apply is December 10th. Deadlines Vary

This offers a varied amount to permanent resident of a New England state and enrolled in a degree program offered through the RSP by a specific public college or university in another New England state. Learn more here.

This offer $5250 to CT resident who is a high school senior rank of 20% or better and/or SAT scores of at least 1200 or ACT score of at least 25. The recipient must attend a CT public or non-profit private college. Learn more here.

This offers $4500 to CT residents who attend a CT public or non-profit private college. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 to repay part of a Soldier’s qualifying student loans. Only specified Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs) qualify for the LRP. Soldiers must enlist for a minimum of six years, and have a high school diploma. More details here.

This offers awards up to $60,000 for incoming freshmen of University of Minnesota. Students who submit a complete application for freshman admission by either the Early Action or Regular application deadlines. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. More info here.
