This grants students various awards ranging from $1,000 – $5,000 to those interested in the field of engineering that display academic excellence, financial need, and have a background in community service. This will award national scholarships worth $2000 each. This is for full-time graduating high school seniors with a 3.4 GPA, of any ethnic or cultural background, who plan to attend an accredited college or university (2-year and 4-year) in fall. Must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States and must be residents of of the following states where we currently have participating InspirASIAN chapters: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin. This gives a $1,000 Scholarship each year of college and there will be ten total recipients. This is available to Juniors of NCSS whose mother is not in the home; due to death or other circumstances, planning to attend college upon graduation. This is a one-time award of $1,000. This will be presented to one or more GCPS high school graduating senior(s) with a desire to pursue a profession in sports medicine, sports management, event planning, or similar related career. This is for $1,000. This will be awarded to graduating seniors who currently attend a fully accredited public Georgia high school and will attend a fully accredited Georgia college or university within the next twelve months. This is offered to high school seniors who plan to attend a two or four-year college on a full-time basis. Eligible applicants must reside in Southwest Georgia and be pursuing a career path in agriculture sciences, animal biology, chemistry, business, accounting, finance, communications, etc. with an interest in a career that is essential to sustaining infrastructure in rural communities. Two $1500 scholarships will be awarded to students who show a record of scholastic achievement and who, through their extracurricular activities, exemplify community spirit. This is for $2,000. Applicants must be a high school senior who has received an official letter of acceptance to a two- or four-year HBCU or a current dual enrollment student of an HBCU. Students must also be pursuing a career path in agriculture sciences, animal biology, chemistry, business, accounting, finance, communications, etc. with an interest in a career that is essential to sustaining infrastructure in our small towns and communities. The purpose of this scholarship is to financially support students pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or technical school. Two awards for $1,000 will be made annually. This is for students pursuing a two- or four-year degree in any area of study. You must be a resident of Georgia, Kentucky or Tennessee as well. Applicants must be female and must demonstrate financial need and individual motivation. This organization gives three scholarships at $5,000. Freshman year is $1,250, and the scholarship may be renewable at $1,250 per year for three additional years if a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is maintained. The deadline is February 1st. To be considered, you must be pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing. Seventeen $1,000 scholarships will be given. In addition, seven scholarships are available to FFA members pursuing a two-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing to the states of Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; Texas; Alabama, Georgia or Florida. This is a $2,000 scholarship. Selection will be based on the applicant’s record of extracurricular activities, scholastic achievement and demonstration of exceptional character in agriculture. Applicants must be directly related (son/daughter/grandchild/etc.), have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.5, enroll into a college/university full time, submit a biographical sketch, letters of recommendation, personal letters, and a transcript. These are awarded to students living in and around the Savannah River Valley and are renewable for the first four years of undergraduate study. The amount varies. Applicants must be from one of 18 counties in Georgia or South Carolina and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The Foundation awards individual annual scholarships that are renewable for the student’s first four years of undergraduate study. This helps provide support for graduating high school seniors at Henry W. Grady High School in their pursuit of a college education. To be eligible for this, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have demonstrated commitment to community service, and there is a preference for students attending a Georgia college or university. This is to support veterinary assistants who are interested in furthering their careers through additional education and pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. This is for graduating high school seniors or equivalent (GED) or current students pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology with a minimum 2.5 GPA. This helps assist students in Georgia with college tuition. The Georgia Mining Foundation was established with a $40,000 scholarship fund to be distributed as individual $500 scholarships. In addition to these individual $500 scholarships, the Foundation will also be giving away three $1,000 scholarships to be paid out over two years. The Georgia Association of Water Professionals maintains three separate scholarship funds and awards seven scholarships each year. The amount ranges from $1,500-$2,000. This is a $2,500 award. This organization helps provide financial assistance to those individuals interested in pursuing a career in welding engineering. To be eligible, applicants must be a minimum of eighteen years of age. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia or Florida. This is a $2,000 award given to a graduating high school senior who is a child of active or retired Georgia State Troopers and who plans to enroll in an accredited college or university. This is a college scholarship program that would help former players obtain a college education. It is for $2,000 and the only requirement is that the applicant must have at one time played in a Dixie Youth Baseball franchised league, prior to reaching age 13. This awards annual college scholarships as inspiration to cancer patients and survivors in order that they may achieve their full potential in life. The amount varies. However, to be eligible to apply, all applicants must have had a cancer diagnosis prior to the age of 21. In addition to a cancer diagnosis, all applicants must be enrolled, or be planning to enroll, full time in an accredited college or university. Applicants must either be permanent residents of New York City, select counties in New Jersey, select counties of North Florida or select counties of South Georgia. This is for $1,000.This award may be used to help defray postsecondary education cost during the upcoming Academic year. Sponsors of applicants MUST be current GASPP financial members. This provides a four-year renewable, need-based college scholarship of up to $5,000 per year. Qualified applicants must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher, demonstrate financial need, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as well as a high school senior in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois or North Carolina planning to attend a four-year accredited institution. This is a full tuition scholarship. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, have a minimum 2.8 GPA and a minimum ACT: 19/ SAT: 980 (verbal and math only). Applicants must reside in the Metro Atlanta Area (9 Counties surrounding Atlanta) or the Houston Metro Area. If selected students must commit to attend all of the 5 Strong College Prep sessions (bi-monthly). Applicants must also be very interested in attending a Historically Black College or University.
