This is for residents of any state, excluding Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Incoming freshmen are considered for these scholarships based on an overall assessment of the application for admission. Full consideration for academic scholarships is given to students who complete an application for freshman admission by either the Early Action (November 1st) or Regular (January 1st) application deadlines. This award will cover students’ tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. This Scholarship is open to students who live in Alaska, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, West Virginia or Wisconsin. In other words, this scholarship is for undocumented students who live in states where they effectively have no access to college – either because they face paying out-of-state tuition or because their state will simply not admit them into its universities. All students who have submitted an application and all supporting documents by the listed deadline are evaluated holistically, based upon academic and non-academic information provided on their admission application. Academic components considered include high school GPA and academic honors. Non-academic items include leadership experience, volunteer experience, extracurricular activities, employment and non-academic honors. This scholarship has a value of $6,000 up to tuition. This offers awards up to $1000 by check for multiple-birth students seeking initial enrollment in accredited post high school education or training. Applicants must reside within the St. Louis, MO-IL metropolitan statistical areas (MSA) which includes the City of St Louis; the Missouri counties of Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Louis, Warren, Washington, or Crawford; or, the Southern Illinois counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, or St. Clair (the Metro East). MPSE Western Chapter Scholarship Program will award at least two $3,000 scholarships to high school seniors preparing to attend one of the following Missouri schools of engineering, one of the approved transfer programs or an approved out-of-state school of engineering. This is up to $5000 and is given to students who are deserving in college and pursuing regular faculty and curriculum. The VANROSS Foundation – a merit-based educational source of funding for deserving high school seniors to offer up to $500 in the states of California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Wisconsin. Horatio Alger State Scholarship – is a database of several scholarships for high school juniors and seniors across the country in various amounts. The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc is developed through the generosity of its members and provides aid to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Black Community Scholarship Fund – Offers awards up to $3000 to high school seniors who are of African-American heritage and reside in the six (6) county Kansas City metropolitan area. Applicants must apply to or attend a 2 or year college.The deadline to apply is March 18th. Learn more here.
Society of Mayflower Descendants – offers up to $1,500 (1st place), $1,000 (2nd place), and $500 (third place) to high school seniors with a GPA of 2.0+ who are entering college and attending the Missouri Mayflzower Society Spring Luncheon. Clay Scholarship – offers varying amounts of awards to high school students who reside within the 1st congressional district in order to bridge the gap between financial aid and the cost of college. Walgreens Expressions Challenge – offers nine applicants awards up to either $2,000 (first place prize), $1,750 (second place prize), and $1,500 (third place prize) to legal US residents in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, who are 13-18 years old and currently enrolled in high school. CBC Spouses Education Scholarship – is awarded for Black students, in an amount between $2500 – $20,000, attending a high school or college in a CBC district. This opportunity awards scholarships to academically talented and highly motivated African-American or Black students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. CBC Spouses Essay Contest – this offer is awarded according to placement, 1st Place – $2,000; 2nd Place – $1,500; 3rd Place – $1,250 to African American high school juniors and seniors who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degrees in a variety of fields. A requirement of constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. CBC Spouses Performing and Visual Arts Scholarships – this offer awards up to $5,000 to African American graduating high school seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in visual arts or performing arts. The Boatman King Scholarship Foundation provides a one year, renewable $2,000 cash scholarship to two hard working students who attend the St. Louis Public Schools and show strong values and integrity. To be eligible, students must be seniors in St. Louis Public High Schools who are entering a 2 or 4 year college, trade or technical school, or other post-secondary educational program and have at least a 2.5 GPA. Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship Program is designed for graduating Missouri high school seniors who plan to pursue college studies in banking-related degree programs. Olin J. Brattin Scholarship – offers three $2,500 awards to graduating Cassville R-IV, Wheaton R-III, or McDonald R-I (Anderson/Rocky Comfort only) High School Senior. Kris Paper Legacy Scholarship For Women In Technology – offer awards up to $1,500 to students that are graduating female seniors or returning female college students from the greater Kansas City area, have a minimum GPA of 3.2, who share Kris Paper’s love of technology and will be seeking a degree in a technology related field.. THE BLANCHE AND IRVING MILLER SCHOLARSHIP FUND – provides $1,000 scholarships to deserving and qualified students enrolled in colleges/universities who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in professional fields. The deadline to apply is April 8th. Learn more here.
KCAF Scholarships are available to students from the Kansas City Metro area, and are pursuing architectural degree from an accredited school of architecture. . Judgment for KCAF scholarships is based on need, academic excellence and demonstrated leadership. Scholarships ranging from $3000 to $5000 are available only to full-time residents within the geographic area of Metropolitan Kansas City, which includes counties Missouri and Kansas. This offer awards up to $3,000 in sponsoring an academic scholarship for students from Kansas City, MO, pursuing associate, undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degrees in Project Management or related fields of study from accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities. The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Applicants should have attended an eligible public high school for their junior and senior years and be graduating in the upcoming spring and must have plans to attend an eligible four-year college or university. Recipients must work 240 hours from January 1, 2025 until commencement of the 2025 fall semester in college. Submission due December 1st. Application here.

This offer varies scholarship to the child of a public safety officer or a Missouri Department of Transportation employee engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state’s highways, roads, and bridges killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. Out-of-State Tuition Waiver – the University of Florida currently offers a limited number of merit-based tuition waivers designed to reduce the out-of-state tuition for selected students: Alumni Scholarship (up to $8,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $32,000 over 4 years)), Sunshine Scholarship (up to $16,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $64,000 over 4 years)), and Gator Nation Scholarship (up to $20,000 per year (Fall/Spring, total up to $80,000 over 4 years)). Riding Forward Scholarship – offers $8,000 awards to high school seniors who live in states with regional branches of Regions Bank and will attend college in the US. Offers $3,500 to college freshmen, sophomores or juniors who live and attend college in states w/ region branches. To apply, record a video or write an essay about an individual you know personally who has inspired you and helped you build the confidence you need to achieve your goals.
