January
Applicant must be a Wyoming resident who has graduated from a Wyoming high school or has earned a High School Equivalency Certificate and a current second year student at Cottey College, with plans to continue her education at Cottey College or another accredited institution. The grant shall be awarded based on academic and personal achievements at Cottey College, and on financial need. The deadline to apply is January 5th. Read more here.
Applicant must be a Wyoming resident who has graduated from a Wyoming high school or has earned a High School Equivalency Certificate, who has been accepted at Cottey College, with preference given to the top-ranking Natrona County applicant. Otherwise, preference will be given to the top-ranking second, third or fourth year Cottey College applicant from Natrona County. Should there be no applicants from Natrona County, the scholarship shall be awarded to the top Cottey student from Wyoming. The scholarship shall be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, character, participation in both extra-curricular and out-of-school activities, and financial need. All students who have submitted an application and all supporting documents by the listed deadline are evaluated holistically, based upon academic and non-academic information provided on their admission application. Academic components considered include high school GPA and academic honors. Non-academic items include leadership experience, volunteer experience, extracurricular activities, employment and non-academic honors. This scholarship has a value of $6,000 up to tuition. The Dream.US Opportunity Scholarship was created for undocumented students who live in states where they effectively have no access to college – either because they face paying out-of-state tuition or because their state will simply not admit them into its universities. The opportunity scholarship award will cover your tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. February
Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship – offers senior high school and 1st/2nd year college students with multiple scholarship opportunities. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic work ethic. Minimum GPA: 3.0 The deadline is February 7th. Apply here.
This is designed to benefit motivated non-traditional students who recognize the power of education to create a better life for themselves and their families. The scholarship is available for undergraduate degrees and certificate programs at select two-year and four-year colleges and universities in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. This is for students who plan to study aviation in college. The scholarship is open to all Wyoming high school seniors and Wyoming high school graduates. This awards several scholarships of differing amounts to Albany County high school students who want to pursue higher education. The amount of scholarships given will depend on the amount of eligible students. Unlike most other Wyoming scholarships, this one is for students who plan to leave the state of Wyoming for their education. Eligible students must have at least a 2.5 GPA. This is awarded to eligible Converse County students. It’s a $5,000 scholarship that gets paid to the students’ college institution over four academic years. This scholarship is mostly need based and requires students to submit a financial aid affidavit with the application. Those who have the most need will be prioritized during the selection process. This is for any high school graduate or GED recipient, or current enrollee in a postsecondary institution, who is a resident of Wyoming. This award is available to Wyoming resident high school students who are planning to attend a college or university in Wyoming. The student must complete a required high school core curriculum with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher (or GED of 500 or higher), and have an ACT score of 19 or higher. This is available for high school seniors and undergraduate students in the Pacific NorthWest (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming) who are planning to major in engineering and pursue a career in iron and steel technology. This is for $1,500. This is a regional art competition that challenges high school students to create works inspired by their state. Tzu Chi USA Scholarship is a scholarship of $1500 funded by Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to recognize and provide financial assistance to outstanding college-bound high school graduates and continuing undergraduate students who were prior recipients in selected areas of the United States. This helps support students living with Cystic Fibrosis and who need financial assistance to further their education after high school. The scholarship awards $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 to 3 people and the deadline is May 1st. Read more here.

Scholarship applicants must be graduates of a Wyoming High School or hold a Wyoming GED. The recipients must be full-time students during the year the scholarship is used. Completion of a full course load with a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for the first semester in order to receive the scholarship the second (spring) semester. The deadline is June 1st. This is for freshmen who have been admitted to UW-Superior and who have a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher may be considered. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis among this group. To be considered, you must be a US Citizen or permanent resident and have a permanent residence within one of the following participating states/U.S. territories: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Guam, and Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). This awards a number of scholarships to students based on academic merit. To qualify, the applicant must have a score of at least 1200 on the SAT, 25 on the ACT, or 79 on the CLT; and a high school GPA of 3.25 or better. Read more here.
This is a full tuition scholarship awarded to a student who shows academic excellence, great work ethic and strong communication skills. The scholarship is renewable from year to year, provided the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 and is in good disciplinary standing with the College. Read more here.
